Podcast: The Exiled Ministry

Tucson, AZ 2007: Years ago, in the Arizona desert, scientists tried to recreate the Earth in an insulated Biosphere. They hoped to test, among other things, the sustainability of life in such housing. People lived for years as exiles in the Biosphere. For us, our Scriptural message gets us exiled as the high, super-majority of the population cannot accept it. Isaiah led his family to the experimental headquarters for a fascinating tour of the facilities. Unlike the Biosphere, the “Exiled Ministry” thrives and remains the place to be.

From Trent Ling:

This ministry, like Jesus’ ministry, is the Exiled Ministry.  We have been discarded, expelled, grabbed, physically re-located, and maliciously spoken against by the “religious” world and its delusional followers.  In addition, we have been abandoned, disowned, betrayed, mocked, and slandered by many who would not put up with the sound doctrine required of disciples of  Jesus.

Through all of this, we humbly remain the exiled ministry–nothing more and nothing less.  Always on the move for Christ, we vagabonds of the truth have no place else to go.

This message features the reading and preaching of the following Scriptures:

Luke 4:14-22, 28-30

1 Peter 2:4-7

John 15:26-27

John 16:1-4

3 John :9-10

Revelation 1:9

Jeremiah 23:25-29
