Podcast: First Things First

Niagara Falls, Canada 2007: Sometimes you have to look very closely at something to appreciate its splendor, just as Isaiah takes in this butterfly. In Christ, we must also look closely at “First Things First” in order to build correctly thereafter.

From Trent Ling:

This message provides the up-close and personal view of the first and most important matter in any spiritual life:  Jesus dead and dying on the cross as a result of the way you live your life.  Straightened out by “First Things First,” anyone could and would thereafter undertake building correctly.  This first and foremost matter of importance will direct and determine all of your subsequent steps and decisions.  Only losing sight of “First Things First” could ever leave you floundering again.

The truths in this message must break you.  Don’t let it fall short of the mark. Then, as a properly broken person, everything can, must, and will change toward God’s will.  Most notably, the Bible will become livable by way of the new powers released in brokenness.

This message features the reading and preaching of the following Scriptures:

Hebrews 10:26, 29

1 Corinthians 1:17

1 Corinthians 2:1-2

Matthew 21:43-44
