Podcast: Undefined

Ocoee, FL 2009: Sometimes a ministry needs a substantial surgical overhaul. Gauze, alcohol, salve, and other emergency supplies help soothe the change and heal the body of believers.

Trent Ling’s preached message, “Undefined,” arrives into the website library.  Preached in pitch darkness on a cold winter morning, its urgency could never be overstated.

“This message really revolutionizes the ministry.  Though I will always miss the prior iterations, ‘Undefined’ really allows God to push buttons, pull levers, and call for whatever he wants from us,” Trent advises.  “We tried very hard for a great many years to keep things together in a heavenly way, but apparently we’ll have to wait for heaven for heaven.”

“Undefined” acknowledges the seemingly blurred (to the human eye) definitions and parameters of God’s Kingdom.  Give it a listen and imagine its multi-faceted impact upon one zealous ministry of the truth. Freed and inspired, heartened and redirected, this remains a ministry that will do whatever God tells it to do, whenever God so demands, no matter the inconvenience or whiplash.

This message features the reading and preaching of the following Scriptures:

2 Timothy 2:19a

Job 6:14

Job 29:24

Philippians 2:16a

Philippians 2:12b

1 Corinthians 16:18

  1. A ministry that reflects the mercy, the patience, the love, and the compassion the Lord’s has for each one of us sound good to me. May this “undefined” ministry be a backstop and build the ones struggling and encourage the ones that might be doing a bit better. 1 John 3:16 “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.”

    Love you,

    Mel

  2. Perfect picture! Father, this vision of your will, ministry, and Kingdom, is clearer every time I hear it – thank you.
    Love you
