Pasco, WA 2011: No matter the ruckus and the waves stirring upon the battlefield, Trent Ling hopes to keep various bridges nearby so that any earnestly wanting to survive can readily do so. As part of this effort, he will now be joining comment conversations here and there.

As announced today, Trent Ling will be joining comment conversations on this website as necessary and as he sees fit. Despite original intentions to steer clear of that area of the site, Trent has now given himself a green light to weigh back into various conversations which he has started.

“Largely, I hope not to be much more than pithy and referential,” Trent exclaims. “The material on the site already offers an encyclopedic treasure.  I can simply refer people here and there to get the fuller message they seek or need.  Beyond that, I am simply trying to keep truth and understanding scooting along down the stream.  To that end, I may get an oar or two back into the water.  Like everyone else on the site, I am under no rule or regulation.  Going forward, I should help to keep the conversation gracious and salty (Colossians 4:6).  Sounds exciting.”

Trent advises that he has been considering a great many changes in his commitments and methods.  This, he insists, will serve to make up for various upcoming changes.

“I do very much appreciate those who weigh in and who do not shrink back,” Trent says. “People were created to be engaging, forthcoming, and fruitful.  There is certainly no need in 2012 to die quietly or purposelessly.  Let us have at it!”
