Podcast: The Success of Failure

Orlando, FL 2010: Yes, look both ways. The Bible is deep and God’s ways are superior to our own. Oftentimes, only in failure, are we forced to see the greater, deeper truths. There is no success like it.

From Trent Ling:

Without restraint and without need, I am certain we would largely miss or avoid communication with God.  But, failure brings us to our wit’s end and provides the rare opportunity to learn something.  Ultimately, these failures directly lead to the path of unlimited successes.

To me, the Bible is so refreshing because it so easily and powerfully explains everything.  It provides a place to stand in the chaos of life, and in this message, it explains what’s really going on in success and failure.  It is something I would never ever have figured out on my own.  May you enjoy similar comfort and rest.

This message features the reading and preaching of the following Scriptures:

Ecclesiastes 3:10-11

Ecclesiastes 1:12-18

Ecclesiastes 2:1-11

Luke 9:23-24

Romans 11:32

John 17:14-15

Psalm 51:1-3, 12, 16-17
