Trent TV: Closing In

In today’s Trent TV episode, Trent Ling refuses to surrender hope and vision despite ever-mounting odds against humanity.  With a long road ahead, Trent mentions and touts two plentiful currencies that could pay the freight for all. Whether these will be tendered or offered remains yet another lingering question.

“We are stuck with each other to a large degree,” Trent suggests. “In that, we cannot simply ignore each other.  Despite all-out efforts to pay for everyone’s whims, insecurities, and preferences, we have gotten relatively nowhere.  God has set us against a ticking clock.  The walls are closing in.  They will not stop on their own.  What will we do?  Repent?  Perish?  The Luke 13:3-5 crossroads have come to our doorsteps.”

Trent TV: Closing In — 4 Comments

  1. Amen Trent and Mel! So sad, you’re right, I hear so many unhappy people complaining and ranting about the post-election here. The never ending middle east protests (wars), more and more Tibetan monks self-immolated themselves; on and on and on… the world has gone mad! James 4:1 What causes fights and quarrels(A) among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle(B) within you? 2 You want something but don’t get it. You kill(C) and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. 3 When you ask, you do not receive,(D) because you ask with wrong motives,(E) that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. 1 Corinthians 15:33 Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

Thanks for showing us the way out — May more and more people find the love and humility that comes from God.

  2. Amen Trent!
As a disciple, love and humility should be my guiding beacons in how I approach my every relationship. But I will only be equipped with both of them if I keep my eyes on the Lord. Once I look away from God’s lighthouse of love and humility I will start approaching things in a human way and the darkness of pride, arrogance, and lack of love will creep in.

  3. As I’m getting with people, I often ask in my heart “who would eventually give a rip about God” and what simple words can be the answers as to what it takes to care about God. I thought about the 2 currencies for people to demonstrate, including me, before our Creator–for you have been mentioning about them often, too, Om Trent over time, that they are on top of my mind. And now summarized here in the video–thanks!
