Trent TV: Wright Done Wrong

Trent Ling strays from the beaten path today, expressing a desire to change recent history in a way hardly clamored for.  In the video embedded below, he appeals for simple loyalty at the top and preservation of the opportunity for people to express themselves free of  repercussion from the world melting down.

“All of my people have had to grin and bear with my act over the decades,” Trent confesses. “I always appreciate true friendship and undying devotion, especially when it runs counter to popular opinion and the simple, itchy ears of the masses.  The President should have stayed true to those who cared about him when he was a “nobody.”  It would have said much more good about him than his Presidency has said or will ever say.”

Trent TV: Wright Done Wrong — 5 Comments

  1. I recall reading the bible in 1998 and seeing the word ‘treacherous’ in 2Tim 3:4. I didn’t know the meaning so I asked someone what it mean; “unfaithful & disloyal” was the answer. I was surprised because I thought it meant something else that had to do with Pirates (yes, I am very strange). Anyhow, to then read that being treacherous is actually sin was even more of an eye opener. Disloyal is sin? Yes! I was then quite humbled in 98′ when I scrolled through my head and listed how I’ve been disloyal-what a treacherous man I am! To this very day, even as a Disciple of Jesus, I am sensitive to being disloyal since it sadly comes so easily for me. I believe God has worked a miracle in my life in this regard but further consideration is probably needed and could possibly result in another ocean of humility available to me. Amen!

  2. Hey, I’m with you! I used to think that being loyal to someone who has made your life better, rescued you from a pit, and educate you, it’s a common sense. Doesn’t everyone do that? No! That’s so sad. May God’s kindness and his grace keep us loyal to Him and his people he put in our lives.

  3. There are many roads in the scriptures that would and could lead us out of being disloyal. Immediately after listening to this clip, I thought of character. To lose character in the Kingdom, you will have ended up in some troublesome spiritual conditions, specifically with perseverance despite the odds.
In disunity, weakness, and judgement from heaven, how quickly the heart wants to leave and not persevere. A man’s character is exposed when there is no fight for clarity and unity, but then to decide to leave the body of Christ.
A fight…I mean a real fight could of spared many in our own number from leaving which would have provided some character, then hope which leaves us to delight in our spiritual state.
    Romans 5:3-5

  4. Loyalty is the only way to go! Yes! The only way to live in the kingdom! Loyal to others. I see it as a lifelong commitment. An affection and attachment that you just don’t throw away! Sadly these days – people in their selfish ways quickly forget all the efforts and love from another individual and forget what loyalty is – as represented in this video, we have a real close example right from the president himself.
There is a lot of humility available when you see your loyalty shortcomings!
    Love you

  5. God handed the Israelites over to idolatry and other sins because of their lack of loyalty to God, the memory of Gideon, and Gideon’s family. Let Judges 8: 33-35 speak for itself…

“No sooner had Gideon died than the Israelites again prostituted themselves to the Baals. They set up Baal-Berith as their god and did not remember the Lord their God, who had rescued them from the hands of all their enemies on every side. They also failed to show any loyalty to the family of Jerub-Baal (that is, Gideon) in spite of all the good things he had done for them.”

    Love you,

    Mel
